Hi!  I'm Katie Howard!  
Welcome to the official Howywood Kindergarten shop!
I'm glad you're here.

I'm on a mission to help busy teachers (like myself!) stop re-inventing the wheel, win back precious time, and discover simple, creative ways to create a bright, beautiful classroom you and your students will LOVE.

I'm happy to tell you this: EVERYTHING I share with you is something I've created to use in my personal classroom.  All my resources are truly “real classroom tested & kindergartner approved” ...which means I’m confident they're valuable, they're practical, & they WORK! 

These are my people!  I’m married to my personal trainer / ultra-marathon running hubby & mama to these 3 awesome kids.

I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education and I've been teaching 1st grade & Kindergarten since 2001 (and I love it!). One of my favorite things to do is create & share REAL, time-saving ideas with other teachers in hopes of helping make their lives easier & classrooms brighter ...  so seriously, I'm glad you're here.  There's NO WAY  I want to keep 20 years of learning, creating, and tried-and-true ideas all to myself.
