Officer Buckle & Gloria Writing : for persuasive writing , safety , or just FUN!

This resource is an awesome writing activity to include after reading Officer Buckle and Gloria by Peggy Rathmann. It'd also be great for back to school or with any kind of health / safety lesson. My class even used it to kick off our persuasive writing unit : We read the book and then wrote and drew our own safety tips and hung them in the hall to persuade our classmates to keep making smart, safe choices. They turned out so cute!
